For centuries, the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church has been a guardian of civilization; preserving ancient Judeo-Christian traditions and sacred works such as the Book of Enoch and the Book of Jubilees, or “Little Genesis,” while isolated from much of Christendom. Ethiopia also offered refuge to the earliest followers of Islam, helping preserve a faith not its own. Today, as political forces seek to weaken and dismantle this historic institution, defending the Church means defending Ethiopia’s spiritual inheritance and an irreplaceable part of humanity’s shared heritage.

BREAKING Ethiopia: Report that UAE personnel are conducting drone operations in Ethiopia, primarily based at the Debre Zeit Air Force compound. Further deployments at Bahir Dar, Assosa and Afar regional military bases. 1/2
@martinplaut It is shameful for the regime to fight( bombing) its own people using Arabs, traditional enemies of Ethiopia.Bin Zaid literally is the unofficial ruler of Ethiopia thanks to his messenger boys in power.
@martinplaut The #UAE has become the single deadliest disruptive foreign element in the #HOA with its divisive military involvement first in #Sudan and now in #Ethiopia. Time for us to wake up and push back on this promoter of war and destruction within #Africa.
"What triggered the major conflicts now... what is causing us to draw arms and taking away so many generations—shall I tell you what it is? A certain ethnic group and a certain religion have set themselves up as 'owners of the country.' In the past, when federalists used to say this, I didn't think the stench of it was this overpowering. I didn't think it was to this degree. But as it turns out, this is the reality on the ground. And when you realize it now, everyone is harvesting what they sowed. I believe a generation that does not tolerate [this] has risen up and is taking revenge on them..."

The epitome of cruelty is killing for just the sake of it and gruesomely, even worse commiting that on unarmed civilians especially children, women and elderly. All that has been happening in Ethiopia for the past 8 years under the Oromo lead government by groups it organized and fund.
This past wednsday July 22 the regime has gone even further in its mindless cruelty and has killed more than 10 monks by drone strike conducted in broad day light on the monastery.
The #IC need to condemn this horrendous crime against humanity‼️

Day 2,302 since 17 Amhara students, mostly women, were abducted from Dembi Dollo University. Their parents wake up every day with shattered hearts, while @AbiyAhmedAli’s genocidal regime spreads lies and stays silent. #AmharaGenocide@hrw@UN_Women#IWD26
Victims have no idea why they were targeted. In pursuit of Oromumma ideology, everything is violently seized-their homes, land, livelihoods, and belongings. The Abiy regime’s #AmharaGenocide and state terror against ethnic Amharas is beyond imagination. @StateDept@UNHumanRights
