That sounds absurd until you look at how they grew up.
For most of human history, social skills were trained through constant friction.
You had to walk up to people.
Start conversations.
Recover from awkward pauses.
Every interaction trained the brain.
But Gen Z grew up inside text boxes.
Texting removes the hardest parts of communication:
• No tone of voice
• No awkward silence
• No real-time pressure
• No need to repair a mistake
You can edit.
Delete.
Rewrite.
Real conversation doesn't give you that luxury.
And that's where social skills are actually built.
Through small failures.
The awkward pause.
The sentence that comes out wrong.
