@thedankoe Yup, this literally happened to me 3 yrs ago. I realized I had just been blindly coasting through life with no idea why. I did what people told me. Then I realized I was 42, and had nothing to show for it. So I quit my 27yr career, started my business, and never looked back.
@bryan_johnson@AlpacaAurelius If you're on tadalafil, your erections ARE fraudulent. That's the point of the medication. ๐ What's your average nighttime erection without tadalafil? That's the real number. ๐ ๐ ๐
I used to wake up every day exhausted. No matter how much I slept.
My brain felt like mush.
Iโd forget words mid-sentence.
I even put 409 cleaner in the fridge once. ๐ซ
Turns out, it wasnโt โjust aging.โ
It was perimenopause. And fixing it changed EVERYTHING.
@davidnimaesq@64bitmodeling@bryan_johnson I agree.. But in this day and age most people don't even eat fruit so if drinking a smoothie gets a bit of fruit down them, I'm all for it. I personally do both. Smoothie in the am, apple in the pm with Pecan butter to blunt the BS increase. ๐
@64bitmodeling@davidnimaesq@bryan_johnson A smoothie doesn't spike BS as bad as juice (or even a straight apple) because of the fats and protein added to it. And blueberries (all berries) are super low glycemic. A smoothie is actually how you SHOULD consume fruit for stable BS. 2/2
@64bitmodeling@davidnimaesq@bryan_johnson The reason you're not "supposed" to drink fruit is because the fiber is broken down and sugar hits your blood stream faster. This is mainly the case with juicing because the fiber is removed. A smoothie is different, the fiber is broken up, but still there. 1/2
