Deaths in UK were worse than worst-case predictions - great short article about why models can be useful, and hopefully a wake up call to heed the modelling of the #ClimateCrisis and its effects https://t.co/aEnZHyjNZI
What a shame. The most progressive law in Europe to make rents fair in Berlin has been overturned. Rent was capped by location & refurbishment for 5 years, but now 1000s asked to back pay rent difference. #Mietendeckel

@d_spiegel Isn't the difference the type of blood clot? Blood clots in the legs vs in the brain - perhaps should compare mortality? Pill has known risk & many women avoid for this reason.
@mariannaspring Hi! Just watched your panorama show - thanks for making it. I was wondering if you could delve more into who stands to profit from anti-vax campaigns? Is it genuine belief or is there a subtle financial gain?

Aside from France having one of the poorest results in science tests in the world.. The test used rooftop farming as one of the test questions! Wonder what the correct answer was #TIMSS2019 https://t.co/kRCCJdDkjv
@lewis_goodall Hi Lewis! You might know already, but TIMSS have just been published today- comparing science &maths education in UK and the world for past 25 years - might be useful for future docs on education
perhaps this year is a year to test out a new style of teaching @SidneySussex , that welcomes more students given more will be done virtually. Lift the restrictions on living in college accom, employ more tutors, & make a statement on accepting deserving state educated students.
Congratulations to all A-Level students receiving their results today. You should be very proud of everything you have achieved during this difficult period. We look forward to welcoming new students to the College in October. #alevelresultsday
Good luck to all students & teachers trying to make this right today. Future opportunities should not hang so much on one grade, and this could have been a chance to elevate from that rather than make it even more random & unfair.
Why did they leave this to the last minute?
@BBCr4today don’t understand why you interviewed the duchess of Cambridge about how hard it had been during lockdown with kids? And no one mentioned the respective privileges (or names) of the interviewees?
