A new tool will help TxDOT crews inspect rail bridges. Thanks to @USDOTFRA & @SecDuffy, our inspectors will have a new bridge training program that will help keep Texas rail bridges safe.

Last week I had an opportunity to update @SecDuffy on @TxDOT & @USDOTFHWA efforts to rebuild and repair after the Texas floods. The RM 1431 bridge at Cow Creek was destroyed on July 5th. A new bridge is under construction with the goal to rebuild it in under 60 days.

Today I signed an agreement with @TxDOT to let Texas better manage its environmental reviews.

This is about getting Washington bureaucrats out of the way.
