Our paper is finally out in @NatureCellBio!
We profiled the maternal-fetal interface following SARS-CoV-2 infection. Congratulations to our PhD students @lingao02, @TamSabrina, @MellowMetal and collaborators on this work!

Congratulations to Qinghong for winning the Oral Presentation Award at the 2022 Inter-University Postgraduate Symposium in Life Science and to Vrinda for successfully defending her M.Phil. thesis https://t.co/1bKScLTUvD #news#celebration
Hello #PortfolioDay! I'm a molecular biologist and I take your scientific discoveries and turn them into colourful, creative illustrations ✨
You can find more of my #sciart at https://t.co/cLJiYAM7QR!
Incredibly excited to share our paper ‘Somatic mutation rates scale with lifespan across mammals’ now published @nature.

A special section in this week's issue of Science presents research by the Telomere-to-Telomere (#T2T) Consortium, which has completed a challenging 8% of the human genome left unresolved by the initial Human Genome Project.

Scientists in the Telomere-to-Telomere (#T2T) consortium have published the first complete, gapless human genome sequence. This can lead to a better understanding of our genomic variations and provide insight for missing heritability and human disease. https://t.co/zZBpKbDKHd
Save the date:
EMBL Conference Transcription and Chromatin, taking place August 27-30, 2022 in Heidelberg.
So much looking forward to meet close colleagues in the field again.

How do gene regulatory networks (GRNs) vary among single cells? We present CeSpGRN (joint work w/ @Ziqi_Peter, Jongseok Han, @dasongle), which infers cell-specific GRNs from single cell gene expression data, and detects dynamic interactions between cells. https://t.co/3oAFU0pQZ5
ISAAC-seq (from @XiChenUoM lab) profiles RNA+ATAC from the same cell using the 10x Genomics scATAC-seq kit! Data looks very promising- slightly higher reads/cell compared to 10x multiome (and much cheaper). https://t.co/DpijEL2hbG
Happy New Year! At our next @cegs_ica virtual seminar, @fgaiti and @jsschiffman will discuss how to use DNA methylation, RNA, and genotype data in single cells to understand the development and evolution of glioma and glioblastoma .
