The AST SpaceMobile network is taking shape, in orbit and on the ground.
Today, over 60 gateways are in various stages of completion, installation and planning worldwide.
Initial, intermittent coverage targeted before year-end 2026 in the U.S. and other key markets around the world.
A new layer of connectivity, designed to connect directly to the smartphones people already use.

Brisanet Serviços de Telecomunicações S.A. (B3: BRST3) ("Company" or "Brisanet"), in accordance with Article 157(4) of Law No. 6,404, dated December 15, 1976, and in accordance with CVM Resolution No. 44, dated August 23, 2021, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, together with Unifique Telecomunicações S.A. and lez! Telecom, it has signed a Commercial Agreement with AST SpaceMobile to offer mobile satellite broadband services (also known as Direct-to-Device-D2D) throughout Brazil.
Regional mobile operators will make available the 700 MHz band radio frequencies they hold and will be responsible for investing in the infrastructure needed to connect their mobile networks to AST SpaceMobile's satellite constellation via ground gateways.
The collaboration aims to enable voice calls, broadband data, and video streaming directly on standard smartphones, without any modifications, eliminating the need for specialized equipment, software updates, or apps. By integrating satellite connectivity into its existing mobile network, the company aims to expand coverage wherever people live, work, and travel, allowing customers to stay connected even when they are out of range of terrestrial networks.
The initiative reinforces the commitment of regional operators to expand connectivity throughout the country and complements the investments they are already making to expand their terrestrial networks.
According to José Roberto Nogueira, founder and CEO: "The partnership with AST SpaceMobile complements our network and allows us to extend connectivity beyond the reach of our terrestrial infrastructure, offering customers access to voice and mobile broadband services in more locations using the smartphones they already own; this secures Brisanet's place in the future of connectivity."
The final details of the agreement are still being negotiated, and the transaction is subject to certain conditions. The Company will keep the market informed of the transaction's progress and any new developments.

$ASTS: SpaceX pursuing 80,000 cell sites confirms its move to become the nation's fourth mobile network operator and compete against AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. It could cost $30 - $40B over 10 years before operating costs and additional $ for spectrum.
The competitive threat to incumbent MNOs is now crystal clear. This makes AST strategically indispensable. AST offers US and global MNOs an independent super wholesale partner of true space-based cellular broadband connectivity that strengthens their coverage and counters Starlink Mobile's threat.
The strategic incentives are now perfectly aligned. AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile (soon) have every reason to accelerate AST's deployment, provide financing and ensure it succeeds. They need to tell customers they can deliver broadband connectivity across 100% of their geographic footprint, including "1-bar" areas - not just places where +90% of where most people live and work.
SpaceX will be spending tens of billions to build a competing terrestrial network to compete, while AST can leverage the infrastructure, spectrum and customer bases that the MNOs around the world already control.
SpaceX's aggressive expansion in the MNO business is the most bullish catalyst for AST SpaceMobile. The market has yet to understand this, but it will in due time.
$ASTS $SPCX $TMUS: Based on the band being described, @TMobile probably found these interference concerns from their work with Starlink direct-to-cell, as Starlink has a very very poor Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio (ACLR). Their satellite signals are not very precise and leaky into places where they shouldn't be.
$ASTS Excerpt from a new expert interview.
Don't get distracted, ASTS has the lead.
Don't let markets or hedge funds that don't know anything about satellites tell you otherwise.
This price action is painful but nothing I haven't survive before or is not lived by many others over at $IREN or $RKLB.
$ASTS not being able to go green on a day like today is indicative of just how weak this stock is. Somebody please shoot it and put it out of its misery.
$ASTS - As promised, here is my latest report on AST SpaceMobile, specifically in two countries: Chile and Brazil. I will start off with Chile as it's a single update.
On October 15th, Chile's SUBTEL established into a decree ASTs authorization to use specific bands in Chile...
Chairman @BrendanCarrFCC on @POTUS bringing families across the digital divide:
“We are within a sight line now towards the end of the digital divide in this country. We’ve got this convergence of technology—5G, 6G, fiber, cable, fixed wireless, low earth orbit satellites…”
$ASTS: Did you know that AST Chief Commercial Officer Wayne Thorsen previously ran Google's device partnerships and was likely pivotal in Google's strategic investment and partnership w/ AST SpaceMobile.
"He liked the cooking so much that he joined"
$ASTS The convergence of private sector + military and government is converging at an accelerating rate.

$ASTS When someone says AST only has X number of satellites (they usually get the number wrong but gloat about it anyway), you show them this info-graphic and say, ‘they got almost half the phased array as Starlink up already; and AST’s WORK!’
I’d also give them this emoji, but that’s just me: 😜
