Noted with thanks, Panyaza. 🙏
If only Gauteng residents could go to a hotel and shower. 🫶

Well there you have it Melville and surrounds. @CityofJoburgZA / @JHBWater have not yet even determined what the issue is that is affecting water in our area and areas supplied by. Weeks gone by, excuses, excuses. Can we not pay our water rates this month for lack of service?
For goodness sake: if JHB water is the problem replace the board, replace the executives, get the right skills in, organize funding under a set of rules and let them get on with it! Screaming!
Joburg. There’s going to be an inter-governmental WATER WAR ROOM to deal with the city’s water crisis. This joins the BOMB SQUAD and the HIGH IMPACT SERVICE DELIVERY UNITS and the PRESIDENTIAL WORKING GROUP ON JOBURG. You see the pattern here? They all don’t know WTF they doing.
Actually the craziest news this morning is that Johannesburg water staff are on a go-slow (yes really) over bonuses. Bonuses?! WTAF! Guillotine the lot of them I say
Taps are dry in vast areas…
Listening to callers on @Radio702 having no water…
Residents are understandably angry and some communities are taking to the streets today.
Where is @Lesufi@GautengProvince@DWS_RSA@CyrilRamaphosa
This is a crisis. Water is life. It’s a basic human right!
Where are the political leaders?
Affected communities must raise their voices and demand action.
@Rand_Water
🚨💧 Joburg is losing millions of litres of clean drinking water because of unattended water leaks. This is the real reason why you do not have water in your taps.
Watch the DA Johannesburg Mayoral Candidate, Helen Zille, report on the ground.
@JHBWater just watched your circus of a press briefing. Commando and HH2 conveniently left off the Mayor’s address. Day 9 in Greenside and surrounds. Not a drop @eNCA@Abramjee@carteblanchetv@IOL@Devi_HQ
WATCH | Johannesburg Executive Mayor Dada Morero says the city’s rapid growth over the past decade has added strain to its water supply, and they are working on building new structures while repairing the old reservoirs.
