@flyethiopian Finest expectations my foot! As Africans we try to support other African brands but unfortunately lack of “customer care” we always have to be shot in the foot becuz of the bafoonery of loosing luggages. Y’all better find my husbands luggage or else a lawsuit is coming ur way…
@flyethiopian How can u take @flyethiopian and have a piece of mind when every-time your luggage is bond not to make it to its destination? If @flyethiopian if u want people “families” to take your airline then fix this nonsense. My husband lost his luggage with all of his belongings in it!
@NAkufoAddo@jack As a fellow American born by Ghanian parents I am so so proud of this. @jack thank you for seeing the impeccable growth and wealth of knowledge Ghana has to offer! I might need to apply for a role @Twitter. @NAkufoAddo May God bless you for making this happen! 🙏🏾
@socialmicole @abbas_sharon @socialmicole thank you for putting this chat together and allowing us to share our thoughts and ideas on how to make Black Success at Work. #fairygodboss
@fairygodboss@badassboz@AnneMtweetss I am going to second that! Not only is she a Black woman but she is a Ghanaian woman that embraces her culture wherever she goes! As a GH woman myself, I can relate to her story. Thankful to have met her at Fairygodboss Galvanize 2019. #Fairygodboss
@ExpertDiversity@ExpertDiversity you are 100 right! As I always say 90% of our time is spent at work so having a culture that fosters great leadership, mentorship, equity, and inclusiveness is important to an employee/employer's success. #fairygodboss
@fairygodboss Q5. Listen, Listen Listen, and then taking Action is the key. Create a space where Black employees can feel safe when speaking up and this will in return will allow for Black voices to be heard more often. #fairygodboss
@socialmicole A4. Leaders should make it a daily habit to check in with their teams. Address concerns when they are brought to your attention, always express-open lines of communication and transparency. #fairygodboss
@aishaaalleyne@aishaaalleyne this is exactly where languages used in job descriptions come to play. Such terms that we have seen like rockstar, ninja, and stud can be off-putting to candidates. #fairygodboss
@WendyMSHRMPHR @fairygodboss @WendyMSHRMPHR you so right! Creating spaces where you can lean on your teammates is crucial. That is why I make it my business to support my Black sis and brothers even outside of work! #fairygodboss
@socialmicole Q2. I think some things that companies should do when trying to attract Black talent is ensuring that job descriptions are written inclusively and also personalizing equal employment opportunity statement. #fairygodboss
@socialmicole @fairygodboss A1. I couldn't agree more. As Black professionals, we get the hardest and have 1000x harder to prove what we can bring to the table. However, if we are able to get support from our colleagues who are outside of our race it always makes our job a lot easier. #fairygodboss
@socialmicole A3: I completely agree with @TimGould as being able to conduct interviews anywhere has allowed employers to tap into a wider range of talent. Through this employers have a better chance of finding candidates who have the appropriate skill set for the role.
