DAO OP-09: $OMSD FIRST PEGGING PHASE ON 20 SEPTEMBER?

A new governance decision is now before the @omega_net_x community as the ecosystem moves toward the next stage of $OMSD, the Omega Stable Dollar.

$OMSD is being developed as Omega Blockchain’s native stable-value layer, designed to provide a more stable and predictable form of value on Omega Blockchain. The objective is not to create another speculative asset, but to establish infrastructure that can support practical blockchain-based transactions, applications, and use cases where consistency of value matters.

The first step toward this vision is the initial $OMSD pegging phase, planned for 20 September 2026.

Under OP-09, the proposed first phase will involve 5 million $OMSD tokens on the Omega Blockchain. This initial phase represents an important step in moving OMSD from development toward its intended role within the broader Omega ecosystem.

Before this phase proceeds, the decision is being placed in the hands of the community through @omega_net_x DAO governance.
