Listen. This guy obviously is awkward but he on some level felt a connection with this girl. He shot his shot the only way he could. Are there better ways? Yes. Men most times won’t peruse a girl this way. But I don’t think he should be publicly shamed, lose his job, and have a police report filed on him. It’s an extreme reaction and she would have looked like a lunific for implying it in the past.

What’s the difference between stalking people’s online profiles? Fishing for every intimate detail about them online? We live in the least private society of all time. A phone number and a text from a company database? Spare me.

Who’s the rule maker on what’s okay and what isn’t for dating? Why do you think that’s not okay, who planted that thought into your mind that that’s crossing a line?

Is she physically harmed? No. Men are not inherently psychopaths, guys drop it if they’re told she’s not interested and move on. End of story.

50+ years ago it was normal to shoot your shot like this via work - it’s how most people meet someone outside their social circle
