So let me get this straight.
NJ says 75,000 non-citizens PER YEAR received jury summonses and were asked to SELF-CERTIFY that they are/are not U.S. citizens??!

WHY are 75,000 non-citizens receiving jury summonses in the first place????

NJ jury pools are built using records from:
• Division of Elections
• Division of Taxation
• Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC)

@Robert_Auth and I sponsored A509, requiring the State to compare jury records against voter registration records to identify potential ineligible registrations....

BUT if two of the three agencies supplying the jury lists are the Division of Elections & the MVC—the same databases we're supposed to be verifying—how is that an independent safeguard??? If the source data is wrong, the same bad information is being recycled from one state agency to another!

THIS AIN'T A SOFTWARE GLITCH. This is a dumpster fire with a Capital D (em). You can't make this up.

I hope Senators @CoryBooker and @SenatorAndyKim will join us in voting to pass the SAVE America Act to ensure that only eligible American voters can participate in New Jersey elections, and all elections across the United States.

The Legislative Branch has the right and duty to conduct an investigation WITH SUBPOENA POWERS apart from the Executive Branch. The entire @NJAssemblyGOP caucus has requested of @SpeakerCoughlin the formation of a bipartisan committee to do just that.

We have been told that the @GovMurphy Administration swept this debacle under the rug. Now, the information @GovSherrillNJ publicly shared is in direct conflict with the federal numbers.

Time for the Majority to back up their mantra of "election integrity" with decisive action.

I said #NJ’s automatic voter registration system was flawed before it failed. Now the @GovSherrillNJ Admin wants to blame the vendor.

The vendor says the Division of Elections, not them, is responsible for verifying and processing registrations.

The buck stops with Trenton Democrats. Period. Full stop.

Audit the voter rolls. Review automatic voter registration. Require voter ID.

Voter ID is NOT exclusively a Republican policy; several states with Democrat governors (including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan, Rhode Island & Washington) have voter ID requirements or request ID at the polls.

🚨PART ONE of TWO: JERSEY CITY BAILOUT FIASCO

Jersey City is now getting a $105M state loan & a $15M Transitional Aid grant to bail them out of an alleged fiscal crisis that didn't happen out of nowhere.

@njassemblydems @NJSenDems voted to authorize @GovSherrillNJ's JC's bailout package before anyone (including the JC Council, apparently) knew the actual loan terms. The bailout was announced on June 29th; the detailed Memorandum of Understanding wasn't released until July 13th, when we finally saw that the $105M loan carries 2.75% interest over 10 years and 3 months, along with a $15M grant coupled with "oversight" from the NJ Department of Community Affairs.

Now that’s a trip. Where exactly has the @NJDCA been? If we are to believe that Jersey City's finances had deteriorated to the point of one-time revenues, emergency borrowing, depleted reserves, delayed obligations, unpaid bills & budget gimmicks, where was the oversight BEFORE taxpayers handed over a $120 million rescue package?

Oversight is supposed to PREVENT fiscal disasters, not roll up after the fact with a checkbook linked to your bank account. Meanwhile, Jersey City government is now publicly fighting over whether to enact the 15.5% property tax increase that Mayor @SolomonforJC's financial plan relies on.

SIDEBAR: Camden and Paterson have each received “Transitional Aid” for 16 out of 16 consecutive years. In Jersey, “transitional” a synonym for “permanent”.

Over the last few days, many people have shared personal stories about the late Senator Lindsey Graham. I thought I would share one of my own.

You may have seen this clip before.
But these are the full remarks.

In early 2024, when the Left was claiming that requiring proof of citizenship to vote amounted to voter suppression, Senator Graham personally reached out and asked me to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

He believed deeply in the promise of America because he had spent a lifetime serving her.

For reasons I’ll never fully know, he saw something in me and in my message, and he gave me the opportunity to take that message to the United States Senate.

I will always be grateful for his confidence and for the chance to speak on behalf of millions of Americans who believe in a simple principle: every legal vote should be counted, and every illegal vote should not.

Senator Graham also believed deeply in the SAVE America Act.

I can think of no better way to honor his service than by sending that legislation to President Trump’s desk for his signature. It is overwhelmingly supported by the American people, it strengthens confidence in our elections, and it helps secure our Republic for future generations.

Rest in peace, Senator.
