At #Neuroethics2022? Drop by our poster on "Strengths and Gaps in the Ethics Landscape of Spinal Cord Injury Research", and say hi to our Project Lead, Anna Nuechterlein! Kudos also to our @mend_gap team members, Lydia Feng, Alaa Yehia, and Vyshu Manohara! 🙌🏻
A beautiful fall day at Stewart Blusson Quantum Matter Institute (@sbqmi_at_ubc)—one of the many locations for our Mend the Gap researchers at the @universityofbc.
🔁 @sbme_ubc: Congratulations to Dena Shahriari on being one of the recipients for the 2022 Michael Smith Health Research BC Scholar Awards!

@mend_gap & @ICORD_SCI at the 61st @ISCoSmeetings —which took place right here, in Vancouver. An amazing few days with a global community dedicated to learning more about spinal cord injury from one another. #iscos2022
See you in Edinburgh, Scotland next year! 🏴
Once thought to be impossible, effective regeneration of axons needs an interdisciplinary team that can: (1) create a physical track for the axons to follow (2) create the right biochemical and cellular environment and (3) test in the lab and in tissue!
📰 We caught up with IPRI and @UOW's PhD candidate @GrishmiR after recently submitting her research project on developing wireless antennas for cochlear implants. Since finishing, Grishmi is now working on the @mend_gap project.
