Countless JKAS aspirants are facing unfair age restrictions, with JKPSC capping the limit at 32 years—far below the national average of 38. With fewer than 20 OM posts, limited attempts due to the events of 2019, and the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the irregular exam cycle makes this issue even more urgent. I strongly urge the Hon’ble LG Administration & J&K Government to immediately revise the #JKAS upper age limit to a permanent 40 for the general category. Years of recruitment delays have already cost our youth precious opportunities, and denying them a fair chance any further is unacceptable. 8th Incident: Second Open Threat Call.

Hindutva outfit Hindu Raksha Dal has once again openly issued threats to identify and physically assault Kashmiri Muslim students in Uttarakhand starting today allegedly in retaliation for the tragic killing of tourists in Pahalgam. Members of the outfit, emboldened by impunity, chanting inflammatory and communal slogans such as “Kashmiri mullo, go back,” They've set a chilling ultimatum, demanding that all Kashmiri Muslim students vacate the state by 10 AM today.

We urge Uttarakhand Chief Minister @pushkardhami Ji to intervene immediately and ensure the safety and security of Kashmiri students across the state.

Reports of #Kashmiri students facing threats across states in the aftermath of the #PahalgamTerrorAttack are deeply disturbing. This is absolutely unacceptable. The Government of India and the Government of Jammu & Kashmir must act swiftly and decisively to ensure their safety. These students have left their homes in pursuit of education, not conflict. They cannot and must not be punished for something they have no connection to. Targeting them is an attack on the very fabric of our unity. We cannot allow hate and prejudice to victimize the youth of Kashmir.

Absolutely heartbreaking and gut-wrenching news coming from #Pahalgam. Innocent tourists have been targeted in a brutal terrorist attack in Biasern, with multiple casualties feared. This heinous, cowardly, and senseless act of violence shakes the very conscience of humanity. It is beyond condemnable, it is pure evil. Such barbarity has no justification and no place in any civilized society. We must all unite to raise our voices against this madness. My deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and heartfelt prayers for the swift recovery of the injured. This is the height of cruelty and utter nonsense. Enough is enough, the time has come for decisive, harsh, and uncompromising action to put an end to such cowardly attacks. This cannot and must not be allowed to happen again. Today we mourn, but tomorrow, we must act.
