The approve() paradigm established by ERC20 was a mistake

Imagine when buying something at a store, they asked you for permission to withdraw your entire bank account balance

And if you say no, you have to call the bank and ask for approval for every individual purchase

Why does every ETH maxi tell you to use an L2 as a response to high gas fees

What exactly am I supposed to do on an L2? The entire reason people are transacting so much on ETH is to trade sh1tcoins & NFTs

If everyone is gambling over on Solana for $0.0001 fees, then that’s where people will migrate to
