Discuss political issues from a historical and philosophical lens by evoking the ideas of great thinkers and historical leaders to promote a healthy debate.
Is the USA merely a "democracy"? The founders of our nation didn't think so and neither did the greatest thinkers whose ideas shaped the Western world. Explore the thinking that helped shape the US Constitution, the system of government, and the origins of "democracy":

@Girlpatriot1974 No. Stop blaming voters who may or may not have voted for Democrats to spite Trump, and focus on the elephant in the room... that the election was rigged... stop coming up with reasons to justify the insane result that never truly happened
@0_954499736@marygrace -midterm to secure a new Congress that will work with him. Ever occur to anyone that Trump might have moles in the Democrat party? They could have planted "Dem" candidates that are really America First... Keep in mind, before 2016, Trump was a Democrat for years in NY...
@0_954499736@marygrace OR, his end goal was always to form a true bipartisan America First coalition. He wants to get Democrats on board and ditch the establishment RINO's that helped block him.... Dems are worried DSA is trying to infiltrate their party, maybe Trump needed Democrat victories this -
@WilliamsDe20244@SantaFeContract@marygrace Wtf, "several reports".. stfu, making shit up pulling shit out of your ass. Yeah right, if any of that was credible, the media would be having a field day with it.
@MaryCohensDiary@marygrace I get it you're mad, but it is weird Trump hasn't mentioned it at all. It's not like him. You might not like the Q stuff, and much of it annoys me, but some of it has some good points. Not everything is all or nothing.
@GenXJediMaster@marygrace Not buying that. The average American isn't struggling financially. That's just a bs Dem talking point "Affordability"... the stock market is fine, job growth is fine, GDP is fine. Too many voters project their own anecdotal stories onto elections. Gas prices high, that's it.
@bigdaveak42@marygrace You can project your own criticism, but the fact that Trump hasn't said a thing about any rigging is uncharacteristic. 2020 he was all over it. Before 2024... now; not a peep when there is clearly abnormalities and statistically impossible results...
@thrivehogsback@marygrace No, not buying that. He had 99% support among MAGA Republicans. The people that voted against him (even though he wasn't on the ballot) are the same one that always have, maybe an insignificant margin. The election was rigged, anyone who's paying attention knows that.
@Dino95177184@marygrace Honestly, the GOP (not all of them) sort of sold Trump out. Thune definitely did. It'd be the wildest shit if Trump was able to form a part GOP and part Democrat coalition in Congress AGAINST the deep state and globalist thugs, and actually get some real bipartisan shit done...
@jforealz17@marygrace They weren't in power in 2020. That's when Trump and GOP lost power in 2021, by Biden's illegitimate coup (Obama's 3rd term). How tf were they supposed to do anything until after 2024?
@marygrace I want this to mean something... but I think that's just my need to still deal with last remnants of coping... Even if they could prove that they did cheat, I don't think anything will actually be done about it... I hope I'm wrong. It is odd they never mentioned election fraud.
@ninoboxer I could be wrong, but Congress can't open the border. Only the Executive branch can. Trump can veto everything those clowns try to do. It's a lame duck session, unless something happens before they are sworn in
@SGTValadez Yeah, some parts are not USA... there has been a slow invasion, and we need to continue to deport as many as possible before 2028... hopefully by then, GOP has an equal and opposite red Tsunami
@GuntherEagleman The problem is believing and accepting the "results" as they are not legit, not even close. If you actually think Democrats performed that well, coming off of a 20% approval rating, you are extremely naive.
@NicoleMend60801 The election was rigged. Stop blaming the "results" on the very few Californians that moved there. It would not be enough to sway an election...
