There is no reading I have ever had of our scripture or materials that tries argue that the transgression of adam and eve was not sinful in nature - regardless of its necessity.

@luinalaska Realizations like this always highlight to me that other Christians - especially outspoken ones - often critique and respond to an extremely fetishized version of the LDS faith that is so comically wrong and vitriolic that they abandon any serious discussion before it begins.
