I cannot stand this boomer mentality. They will sit around all day, do nothing, and call it a productive day because it happened in an office. Meanwhile the guy who actually does something quickly and efficiently is punished with more work. Measure people by their production, not their time.
@TheICHpodcast What a condescending dumbass micromanaging boomer prick.
If you can't trust your employees to be productive without jamming a camera up their asshole, you have failed as a hiring manager.
Anyone saying WFH is bad has clearly never experienced it. It genuinely changes your life. No commute, slow mornings, midday walks, more time with your family, dinner plans after work, and enough energy left to actually have a life outside your job. Where's the downside?
I personally don’t think Gary Speed was selfish, or Graham Thorpe, or Ricky Hatton, or David Bairstow, or David Kelly, or Justin Fashanu, or Chester Bennington, or Chris Cornell, or the 6,190 people who died by suicide in the UK in 2024.
It remains the biggest killer of men under 50 and women under 35, if you’re struggling call Samaritans on 116 123.

We had a once in a generation opportunity to make remote work the global standard, and somehow we let it slip away. What happened? Why did so many companies abandon something that gave people more flexibility, less commuting, and a better work life balance?
Dominated Scottish Football for years, countless trophies and treble’s, go through a wee tough spell and they bring out the pitch forks. Whilst its glorious to see, they really are an entitled bunch

Working 8–9 hours a day and then going home to about 3-4 hours to yourself, which includes getting ready for the next day, is not living, to be very honest.
I’m 27.
I’m single.
I have a modest income.
I have a Plan 2 student loan repayment.
I have a LISA.
I had to move back in with parents after University and I’m still there.
I don’t claim benefits.
I save.
And according to Rachel Thieves, I’m fair game to be taxed until I squeak.
🆕 DOUGIE IN THE DUGOUT!
