The PSC's team doesn't even have the capacity to support pelvic mesh, or the IMMDS's recommendations-they've told us outright they don't have the capacity to work on all of them.

The government should fund more staff for this office-the post can hardly be called a PSC at present

I recall an RCOG conference in which a woman gave a patient’s perspective on Mesh yet she wasn’t even implanted with Mesh

When I queried this, I was told she learnt by looking at my social media posts - how offensive

Yes and it made damn all difference. Besides, you guys only started letting patients report to the yellow card system as a result of a BBC investigation - the MHRA is about the least patient-facing medical org in the UK.

@InjuredMesh The Great and the Good in Scotland can sound like they're still living in 2011, "don't believe these irrational accounts on the internet". In reality, since the rise of social media, it's too hard to play down excess harm from e.g. Essure and mesh as accounts are so numerous.
