Mr Rubio, with this post you have sealed your legacy as an enemy of international law and basic human decency. History will judge you harshly. In the meantime-, the rest of us are standing with Francesca Albanese, a tireless servant of minimum ethical standards.
Every day, I report the death toll in Gaza. When I share the number, they respond with “fake,” “trust me bro,” “context?” or “names?” When I provide the names, they say “combatants.” When I show they were civilians, they say “blame Hamas,” “release the hostages,” or “FAFO."
“I truly hope that people understand what’s happening.”
“I’m a UN pro bono official — I’m not even paid. Yet suddenly I’m a threat to the global economy. Why? Because I asked big tech to comply with international law and stop profiteering from genocide.”

This is happening on your watch @DavidLammy@Keir_Starmer and it’s every single day. Your inaction and cowardice shame us all.
“Precision targeting” …pulling the trigger on little kids begging for food...and the UK government shrugs…
Another consultation, on service charges? 💤
Leaseholders don’t need more questions—they need real reform.
Meanwhile, the elephant in the room—leasehold itself—sits untouched. How long can government ignore the bigger issue? #LeaseholdScandal#LeaseholdReform#HousingCrisis
I graduated as a doctor 4 years ago with ~£100k of debt, and despite working up to 72 hours a week, my debt has only increased.
Doctors are being paid £17/hour and have to make loan repayments and pay thousands for exams and fees.
We are only asking for £23/hour.

A truly chilling story. Guardian reporting that the Israeli Defence minister has asked IDF to draw up plans to move 600,000 Palestinians to a camp on the ruins of Rafah, something he calls a “humanitarian city.”
Once in, they wouldn’t be allowed to leave.

Benjamin Netanyahu has been indicted as a war criminal.
His government is systematically killing and starving the people of Gaza.
He will be remembered as one of the monsters of modern history.
And Trump welcomed him to the White House.
No-one seems to have attacked Channel 4 for showing Gaza: Doctors Under Attack, which raises the question: if there was nothing wrong with broadcasting it, why couldn't the BBC do so?
This should be treated as a hate crime and prevented from happening by @PoliceServiceNI
There is no question in my mind - in the wake of the violence we have seen against asylum seekers - that this is incitement.
