"The work proposes that we share one atmosphere, an invisible commons that recognises no national or political boundaries, and that we may choose collectively how to care for it."
Western Flag to centre, the weight of history upon the present. Flare to right, the burning present pointing to an infernal future. To left is STANDARD a utopian dream of sustainability and a borderless re-relation to the commons. Deepest gratitude to the makers credited below. To @0xShiroi on art token, to @fellowshiptrust for presenting. To @ArtBasel for 010, curated and located beautifully by @trevorpaglen and @eli_schein. The first time this triptch of Flags is united and a deeply proud and moving moment for me on many many levels / jg

What changes when disinformation is studied not only as a communication problem, but also in relation to cybersecurity?
In our recent paper in @icsjournal, with @JoseARuiperez and @juanchoaguado, we examine how social science research has framed this connection ⬇️
Among his most significant works: Scrollbar Composition (2000), in which scrollbars move independently across a webpage — performative, never the same twice. Compressed Landscapes (2016), shown at the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam, where an algorithm endlessly searches the internet, compressing images into shifting digital landscapes. And JPEG (2022), generative images built entirely from code, no image material whatsoever.
