Oak Park, Co Carlow & Casement Aerodrome, Co Dublin have reached 30°C today, making it the 4th consecutive month where a primary weather station has reached 30 °C in Ireland. The longest run before 2026 was 2 months in 1976 and 2022👇

According to climate projections, it is virtually certain that the duration, frequency and intensity of heatwaves will increase over most land areas.
