I've developed software for over 22 years now, which is way over half of my lifetime, both professionally and as a hobby.
Here are some of the most valuable lessons I learned along the way:
@MaryLTrump Not only does he sound like he's trying to decide a case on his own feeling, he is considering a hypothetical scenario against the documented behavior of Treason Trump that is the current case in Alito's damn face and on his damn docket. All-In Alito needs to stop.
@MaryLTrump Alito: a person knowing they are protected from prosecution is less likely to break the law. Some kind of twisted abomination of traditional Republican values. WTF is wrong with that man? Close all the prisons. We'll be totally law abiding then. Aye?
@US_OGA This is only additional proof that we cannot continue to tie our nation to a single, tightly controlled natural resource. We need to run (not walk) away from you and your OPEC brothers. Time now for reciprocal legislative action to big up seed money to renewable energy.
@RuamiGrey@Teri_Kanefield At worst for her, I think it was effective signaling. "Bring me cases. Move me up the ranks. I'll tow the line." All comes down to who gets to do appointing and who the congressional gate keepers are at that time.
@DFI_Sancho@ubco2@Reuters He was 1) mad b.c. he could no longer grift UKR b.c. of their new president and rising rule of law and 2) worried about RU citizens seeing so much prosperity and bounty so close to their borders as UKR was heading towards modernization without the weight of corruption.
@GeryDespret @PhillipsPOBrien I dont think that would happen. Ukr would be forced to March right into Moscow and RU people would turn against him & likely hang him in the street.
@plcoding This is good advice.
My team architectural docs start with concepts such as predictability, simplicity, testability, malleablility.
Later when different architectural constructs and rules are introduced, we describe how those things facilitate the initially discussed concepts.
@rasatsu @Daemonhunter3 @RedThyme@adivawoman@KyivIndependent Wasn't like he was arrested without an investigation or probable cause. If they convinced a court he should be arrested and charged, then it is what it is. Then the court can determine flight risk and public danger. The system is doing its job. Time to let it.
@rasatsu @Daemonhunter3 @RedThyme@adivawoman@KyivIndependent Noone claiming no harm done. The goal is to minimize impact to the accused while still protecting society. Bail and bond help respect the accused. Not sure what utopia you imagine there could be when the reality is that some people are just dangerous.
@rasatsu @Daemonhunter3 @RedThyme@adivawoman@KyivIndependent Arrests happen everywhere. It's what happens in the courts that tells the true story of the whether a nation is civil or not [as long as the accused survives the arrest].
