Metro Dublin (Nee Unified Proposal) with Mitsui & Nishimatsu made a proposition to Government in 2000, see below.
We can do a similar proposition again for metro lines other than #MetroLink, but, first we need to meet @EamonRyan@MetroForDublin🔔
Innovate for Ireland is embarking on a journey of innovation and progress: weaving sustainability into 🇮🇪🌱. “ In short, this is the most important, transformative and impactful project I have been part of “, Dómhnal Slattery said. Have we another IFSC moment 🇮🇪! @businessposthq
Being the 2nd richest EU country, we spent more on Metro planning than India did on a moon mission. With 100K kids on waiting lists & 1,000s more facing poverty, isn't it time we invest wisely? Metro Dublin exists to refuse such costs & build a better future. 🚇🍀 #WhyWait#NTA
@baz19741@EamonRyan@MetroForDublin We're not just dreaming; we've got the maps & engineering blueprints! Our 1996 map reveals how Metro D. could mesh with a QBC network. Back then, both Tallaght & Sandyford were QBC reservations. Fun fact: The Tallaght route is 72% of the Red Luas line but serves 30% more people!

✈️ Dublin Airport: Ireland's Gateway to the World ✔️, but not to Ireland itself ❌. Imagine a seamless connection to all of Ireland's railway network 🚆 Some pray for it, we strive for it. Because we know we can do it, & so much more! 🤷♂️@SouthwestMetro✔️ @thepainterflynn#Dublin
Today in 2000 it is announced that Dublin is to get a full-scale underground metro system as part of a multi-billion pound plan to tackle the capital's crippling traffic congestion
Did you know that several EU-funded upgrades to the Belfast line have been implemented, yet they haven't delivered the promised reduction in journey times? #infometrodublin
State agencies, deeply entrenched in their own projects, often overlook innovative proposals. This oversight, further fueled by consultations with vested interests fearing change, can unfortunately stifle the emergence of transformative initiatives.
Your support is vital to us.
Waiting for our metro is like a kid on a road trip asking 'Are we there yet?' every two mins! As cities zoom by us in their subway 'cars', we’re still in the old banger playing 'I Spy' with sheep. When do we get to play 'I Spy... a metro Dublin station'?

Do you see that the slow pace of infrastructural projects such as the Metro Dublin, hampers Residential and other developments plans?

Johnny Ronan's words ring loud and clear,
'MetroLink in our time? never fear!'
Forecasts won't suffice, action we'll ignite,
Building Metro Dublin, a glorious sight.
With CIÉ and NTA, distinct plans align,
Together we strive, our visions combine.

Dublin deserves nothing less than a fully integrated and world class metro system that spans city and county wide. A system that fully utilises and connects the current public transport in Dublin to finally bring it on par to what we see in world leaders of public transit #Dublin
@MetroForDublin@EamonRyan OMG … MAYBE BACK TO THE DRAWING …?

Local residents are now seeing more buses arriving in Terenure full to capacity at peak time. This is being made worse by the unsustainable development without investment in infrastructure. We need a Metro for South West Dublin @dublinbus@BusConnects@metrodublin
