@Mets2026@Ozymetsdias He absolutely was better than Freddy so far (even before this most recent start). He was a dick and we hate his antics, but he was a very good pitcher for us and statistically was better than Freddy in nearly every metric in 2021
@BronxStilo@runwildkian Nah, everyone remembers wrong with Seth. Lugo’s numbers in his prime were much better as a reliever as a Met. Different story when he left tho - he became a great starter but the Mets had real, statistic proof to keep him as a reliever.
@cph71172184@tknowsball_@Mets Why did MJ get the AB yesterday against a LHP when he was removed EVERY time a LHP came in before Morabito came up. Letting him rot on the bench like he’s Acuna will kill any potential to develop past that. With Acuna it made sense cause we were good and that role was important
@chricagos@YankeesRealist Probably not gonna turn two with benge as the runner and they especially wouldn’t have on that ball with it being hit relatively softly. Was the right call to not have the back IMO.
The Steelers are declining the fifth-year option for left tackle Broderick Jones, per source.
The option would’ve paid $19.1M. Jones, who is coming off neck surgery, is set to be a 2027 free agent. He has 38 career starts and was playing well pre-injury.
@TalkinBaseball_ So we go Harper over Goldy when it'll be lefty/lefty and Bryce is struggling, but we DO USE left/lefty data when it comes to taking out one of the most clutch hitters we've had in the tournament? Make it make sense
@BirdsnmoreBirds@apersonaboutit@sammy______G You lost credibility when u said that SF team gad a “great o-line.” Off the top of my head I can think of multiple players where Aiyuk was WIDE open but the pocket collapsed instantly. They were great in the run, horrible in the pass. The o-line was the group that held them back
@appis_this@jixontwitr@Lobs_All_Day I mean fair but he is the only player in that offense who can seperate and he is certainly an impact player. Literally dropped 108 yards against Seattle this year
@jixontwitr@Lobs_All_Day While cross is a great player, the impact of losing him against that awful SF defense is FAR less than losing Trent Williams against a top 3 defense in the league. I’m not sure the hype behind Bolton lol he averages 20 yards a game that’s NOT nearly as big a loss is Pearsall 😂
@KenKen69698@GeeK253@vountee Maybe, and with the way SF has played maybe their offense can be perfect, I just feel it’s less likely than Seattle’s Offense doing just enough cause their defense gets enough stops.
