@AvidCommentator Which factors were temporary?
The tax breaks could could have stayed and might even come back.
The immigration rate could conceivably stay at current levels for a long time. A fraction of a percent of the main source nations could double the population.
Could go on longer
@AvidCommentator This was so expected that's it's not even funny. Just pathetic.
Its also true which will be funny when all mass immigration defenders find that house prices and the rental market especially remain dystopian. How will they explain that?
@samstrades@AussiesElectYT I hate averages for these things because we've been fucked so long that they are starting to normalise dystopian living standards. Its good you mention they used to be 4%. Because in another decade people will start talking about long term AVG of 2%. America is over 6% currently.
@DDTimor_Leste@PieterLeeuwenb1@AvidCommentator Pretty sure most people voting ON know that cutting immigration will hurt house prices. They clearly prefer that over turning is into a crowded 3rd world shit hole.
@PieterLeeuwenb1@AvidCommentator Recessions end. Immigrants are practically infinite. Only tiny fraction of potentials would be enough to make all current locals a 10% minority.
@DanielH16577898@AvidCommentator She has shown herself to be quite radical with a lot of issues people don't want to be changed. If she just promised to keep the status quo and to fix things normally, while cutting immigration and maybe wokeness, she'd be flying. Like the rest of our leaders she's retarded too.
@centristozzy@DrewPavlou Would have to be legal to sleep with your gun to avoid this outcome here. The other issue is preventing the intruders from also having guns.
@AvidCommentator What a mess. Though I'm not sure if post study rights were set to their minimums, and they blocked off any path to residency, it would stop a lot of it. Could be other restrictions too, like working in your field of study.
@NoticerNews@samstrades How about tying migration to have house prices at 4x income like they were in the early 90s. So basically 0 for a decade and then a trickle balanced by source.
@DrewPavlou There are already many suburbs where locals are the minority and even a bunch where either Indians or Chinese are the majority. That's based on the last census. The next census is going to show a massive acceleration of this replacement. Expect a lot of shock and reaction.
