@Dr_W_E_Bulmer@GrahamSmith_ US presidents don't do it, so why do our Royal family always feel the need to plunder the dress-up box? Why don't they at least modernise a little? Could it be because they like to keep everyone subordinate to them?
@debbie_sorrell@Decay212@StanCollymore Instead of your trite, and lazy, "Stick to football" comment, how about offering something more useful, Debbie? At least Stan is offering a legitimate opinion, and an explanation by analogy. You're just offering a shameful 'put down'.
@Bodyfirst_PT@clairebubblepop No, the economics of taxing goods and services...that's all...a change by a democratically elected govt based on a manifesto commitment.
Judges seem equipped to control what people can and cannot say or do in courts. Why is the system allowing this assault on the victims? Is it beyond the wit of humanity - and the legal system - to make myth-based cross-examination a contempt of court?

@redditchrachel Nobody is denying you the right to make that choice: it's a simple taxation decision, that's all, but with the underlying principle of allowing every child more choice and more opportunity.
