At the risk of being a libertarian killjoy, I don’t think that providing free babysitting during a night out is one of the legitimate functions of the state.
Breathing the air outside today is equivalent to smoking two cigarettes: TERRIBLE for you unless you're drunk. Please, everyone, stay indoors until you've downed six White Claws
Dying at 71 with just a $1.5M net worth (despite a $174k+ salary, no wife, and no kids) is all the confirmation you need that this guy had no business making decisions for the rest of us.
I often criticized Lindsey Graham. But this weekend, I learned his full story:
- Orphaned young, he adopted & raised his little sister instead of letting her go into the system.
- Grew up dirt poor, racking balls in his parents’ pool hall.
- In search of opportunity, he joined the Air Force. Served 33 years. Retired a Colonel.
- Then spent decades in Congress, earning respect across the aisle.
- Bashed Trump hard in ~2016, then respected the will of the voters, and grew to become a loyal ally.
- Humble. Devoted to his constituents.
- Driven by patriotism (even when misguided). Never in it for the money. Could've cashed in any time like most of his colleagues.
- That Disney trip everyone mocked? Just a good uncle taking his beloved nieces. He smiled through (and ignored) the hate to protect his family.
RIP to a self-made American original.
This is shocking and out of nowhere.
A lot of conservatives had ample criticism for Graham. He was a war hawk for whom it was always the day after 9/11, and pushed for a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants in 2013.
But when a man dies we ought to remember what was best about him. It’s worth remembering the role Graham played in blocking Justice Merrick Garland, and ramming through Brett Kavanaugh in the face of a despicable smear campaign against him. The country is much better off from his role in that.
RIP and condolences to his friends and family.
Dozens of illegal migrants crossing the English Channel in a small boat shouted “This is the end of England” moments before landing on British shores.
One man said, “London is finished, London is finished. Rozi Khan has finished London.”
The migrants were also seen throwing personal documents into the sea during the crossing.
The dinghy, carrying dozens of people including women and children, completed the 21-mile journey across the Channel. According to the report, 11,821 migrants had crossed by small boat to the UK by 25 June this year.
When we make dual citizenship illegal
Blame Roberts and Barrett
When we have total travel bans from hundreds of countries
Blame Roberts and Barrett
When we mass deport 30 million
Blame Roberts and Barrett
When we close down all legal immigration
Blame Roberts and Barrett
When we place SEVERE restrictions on visas
Blame Roberts and Barrett
When we denaturalize anti-American foreigners and fraudsters
Blame Roberts and Barrett
When we criminally prosecute birth tourism and foreign surrogacy fraud
Blame Roberts and Barrett
Roberts and Barrett weaponized our Constitution against the true birthright of US Citizens. These are the consequences
If anyone can be an American, then being American no longer means anything.
Just because you’re born on American soil does not make you an American
To become an American, a family must have generations of sacrifice and commitment to the American way of life and existence
This entire idea that America is a nation of immigrants, a melting pot, and that anyone can acquire the title of being an American is the most dangerous and will seal our fate on a course of destruction
Now that SCOTUS has opened the floodgates for foreign invaders to flock across our borders and spawn, the only choice we have is to triple down on immigration enforcement. Militarize the border. Mass deportations. Round every illegal up. Don’t pull back when the lesbian activists start screeching about it. Use whatever force is necessary. There is no other option.
We cannot consider #AI to be morally neutral. In reality, every technical tool embodies choices and priorities through what it measures, ignores, and optimizes, and how it classifies people and situations. Ethical discernment cannot be limited to asking whether we are using a system for good or bad purposes. It must also examine how that system is designed and what vision of the human person and society is embedded in the data and models that guide it. #MagnificaHumanitas
