I wish I could go back in time and describe to my 20 year self how one day itโll be 12:30 at night and Iโll be one of six people who have responded โinterestedโ on a set of three pairs of socks someone in our local Buy Nothing group has posted, eagerly hoping to be the chosen one
How I became the Hugging Mom ๐งต:
Every day when I drop my son off at preschool, I give him a hug and wish him a good day. I tell him I love him while he runs off to play with his friends. Last week, after I hugged my son, something different happened.
What an amazing way to kick-off our school day with a Tunnel of Hope at GHS to bring our community together and show ALL of our students that we believe in them! ๐๐๐

๐ฏ I can interpret scaled graphs. These 3rd grade mathematicians did a great job collaborating on our vertical non-permanent surfaces to answer questions about the data on scaled bar graphs.
Itโs amazing how much you learn when your family competes in trivia twice a week. It helps when you know the difference between Kendrick Lamar and Bruno Mars though.
When I attend trivia with my kids, my answer to every 'name the artist' audio question is Kendrick Lamar. My son finally played me some Kendrick and now I know how wrong I've been.
These mathematicians explored fractions on a number line and started to notice that some fractions are equivalent to others. @TaniaPalmieri3@GHillsGators
I learned so many great instructional moves from watching Mr. Hanrahan today. Hearing the rationale behind every choice he made is helping me up my game in guided reading planning!
Iโm not sure what I liked more, the great guided reading lesson on text features or the debrief that took place afterward. Our 3rd grade team really dug down deep to get to the โwhyโ behind many of their colleagueโs teaching moves. This is how instructional practice improves!
