For completely random reasons, I am going to be using an old Twitter account that I haven't touched in a while but fortunately haven't deleted.
If interested, this will probably be more personal.
@MDixonsports will be more work/@thecomeback/@awfulannouncing related.
@dtreystarling@kevinfaigle It has to be immediate. Like if the QB double clutches or takes an extra step, it's called. But without that, they're protected by a rule
@TartanTribe1 To be fair, while the second baseman was playing away from the bag, that was a hard hit ball right at him. Unless the defense boots it, I don't think anyone in baseball is fast enough to beat that out or even make it close.
@inglishmiqlana@MDixonsports Pump the brakes is interesting, given that my whole point is that just like we can't call it a failure (and for the record, I don't think it will be), we can't call it a "great turnaround" yet, given that they're in the same position they've been in each of the last 3 years.
@slowvibration Thing is, while I get where he's coming from, they never warn just one team. So, if the warning comes when Chapman gets hit, the Giants would be getting warned despite not hitting anyone (or at that point, warned without ever throwing a pitch).
@humpdayhoopla@thecomeback Yeah. Population divided by square mile. These are the 10 states with the least density. Nevada is 9, Kansas is 10. But as you can see, there's a fairly wide gap.
@humpdayhoopla@thecomeback No it won't. Not unless there's a big population shift out of KS or into NV. Kansas has a smaller population but NV is a significantly bigger state.
I'd say it's pretty unlikely that any of the states with a lower density than NV will ever get an NFL team.
@JoshuaCReeves @BillSimmons The 90s Bulls would be the answer. Took them nearly 4 full seasons combined to pass their 1998 win total and more than 4 to pass what they did in both 96 and 97.
@ChrisMNovak Ideally, I'd prefer a one night format. 3 hours for normal PLE's, 4 for WrestleMania and maybe SummerSlam.
The problem is, WWE was going way over those numbers pre-2020. So, the question is, two 3ish hour nights or one 6-7 hour night? Give me Door No. 1 any time.
@901Meg @olivergriff11 Bigger issue.
LeBron complaining about TBD officiating would be like Steph Curry and the Warriors complaining about a team taking too many 3s.
The Lakers get more foul calls than anyone. There's not a close second. If officiating is changed they're hurt more than anyone.
@OnlyPadres Marlins broadcasts aren't available for us to clip. But watching on MLB TV, they did acknowledge and show that Melvin pointed with his right hand. Even Schumaker was arguing that he used his right hand when Rogers was coming in.
So, I don't know.
@OnlyPadres Pretty much my thought too. Though I wonder if Doval might have stepped into the bathroom or just off screen for a screen for a second.
The other part of this is, Doval is right-handed, Rogers is left-handed. I wish they'd shown Melvin actually making the signal.
@JaredCatherine1 @thattizzank @awfulannouncing The only way there's an E8 is if the scorer deems the runner should have been out at third. E2 because the runner safely advanced to third. No E8 because the bad throw didn't allow the runner to advance.
@bryan1012000 I get the point. Their hands are tied by the cap. But I also get why fans are antsy. It's hard to feel they're beating KC without significant change.
I've seen a lot of current Chiefs/90s Cowboys comparisons. 4 HOF defenders were on the 94 49ers that weren't there in 93.
@FeezyF_ It's the name of the site but all kinds of announcing gets posted/written about. Trust me, the person who posted this did not think the call was "awful."
Plenty of reasons to not like Hulk Hogan. But if you're a wrestling fan now or have been at any point since January 23, 1984, what happened on that day is probably a big reason why.

@danconnolly2016 Anyway, it's an interesting comparison. Player A gets a sizable edge for being a better defender, a better pure hitter and having better overall power numbers despite 43 fewer HRs. But it's a much closer battle looking at the numbers than you'd think it'd be knowing who they are.
