@dhh I don't think all those resources for enable you to fix the lack of HW acceleration for DRM content like Netflix, Prime, HBO etc. which makes streaming of video content a really bad experience on Linux. Prove me wrong though and I will be very happy!

@dhh It’s also amazing to optimize/configure home automation solutions like Home Assistant with Shelly relays, highly recommended especially if you want to have both a classic “dumb” house and the ability to control stuff remotely with some automations here and there at the same time.

@AAPLTree @dominocollege @bxlewi1 Sorry I misunderstood what you wrote earlier regarding 90W sustained output, thought you meant charging not power consumption. I believe M1 max can go even higher in power consumption iirc anandtech article correctly, but I don't think it's for sustained workloads..

@dominocollege @bxlewi1 @AAPLTree Easier maneuverability in bed, easier to hold in toilet etc :) Also some people connect laptops to external displays when they are not using them on bed so extra size and weight doesn't help them.

While Tgram is super convenient to use, e2ee is too important to not have by default with everyone. Recent Twitch hack kind of opened my eyes - what if something similar happens to Tg servers..

@WojtekKardys Koperta w stalowym się rysuje dużo łatwiej niż koperta w alu (miałem i stalowe i alu). Szyba na odwrót, rysuje się łatwiej w alu niż w stalowym, ale w s7 jest rzekomo 50% wytrzymalsza. Poza tym kwestia czy chcesz błyszczącą (= stal) czy bardziej matową kopertę. Alu sporo lżejszy.

@RjeyTech Not true, it has pretty bad battery life. It made me nervously check percentage of the remaining battery life during the day as the battery drain was huge. I actually some days had to charge it during the day. Something I didn't have to do for years with other flagships.
