North Korea tonight appears to have conducted its First Launch this Year of an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, with the Missile being launched at a High Vertical Angle and then Splashing-Down in the Sea of Japan. This is the First ICBM Test by North Korea since December 18th of 2023, when North Korea carried out a Successful Test of the Solid-Fuel “Hwaseong-18” Intercontinental Ballistic Missile; this Test also only comes a day after the South Korean Ministry of Defense had reported that North Korea was preparing to deploy a Road-Mobile Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, using a New 12-Axle Transporter, Erector, Launcher (TEL).
