Citicorp Center was built in 1977.

Located in NY, it was the world's 7th tallest building but had a big structural flaw: a very strong storm wind could knock it over.

The expert architects had no idea, until an anonymous Princeton undergrad cold called them.

Here’s the story🧵

Where can I find a more comprehensive breakdown of @GrowSF position on recalling @chesaboudin that counters the points raised in @roybahat tweets and this Atlantic article? https://t.co/6EzmFb81kf

[Roy E. Bahat @roybahat]

My San Francisco ballot is right in front of me and, after plenty of consideration (including on whether to say something in public), I'm voting NO on recalling @chesaboudin -- and I encourage you to do the same.

Why? ⤵️

A troubling but necessary read if you’re a fan of college sports and the institutions that prop them up. Jerry Sandusky did not happen in a vacuum. https://t.co/MOk0KcSCjV

.@Titans WR @1kalwaysopen_ shared a powerful message on his Instagram and TikTok accounts about depression, anxiety and mental health while encouraging others to get help. “Be there for someone because someone was there for me,” Brown said. “Take depression seriously.”

At #Outsidelands2018 after #florenceandthemachine. Everyone jam packed in the south tunnel anxious and irritated. Someone starts singing “Just a Friend” by @BizMarkie and immediately everyone is best friends. It’s getting passed on and on for thousands. #thisisamerica

It's almost Fathers Day. Rather than celebrating, I will spend Fathers Day working to prevent other dads from losing children to gun violence. I need your help sending a message to DC. Let's make #DadsForGunSafety the biggest # of all time with 1,000,000 RT's. Let's do this.

I'm back from a week at my mom's house and now I'm getting ads for her toothpaste brand, the brand I've been putting in my mouth for a week. We never talked about this brand or googled it or anything like that.

As a privacy tech worker, let me explain why this is happening. 🧵

@LimbicLiminal @GalvinAlmanza Three in my family all got Pfizer, including my pregnant wife and no side effects for any of us.

@JoePompliano Gotta love the irony in the UEFA prez calling those behind the Super League “snakes.” Even if it is a horrible idea.

I asked, "what is the most unbelievable sports stat you have ever heard" last week.

Almost 2,000 people responded, providing some absolutely MIND-BLOWING answers.

Here are 10 of my favorites.

Sidra has an unbelievable story, even as entrepreneur stories go. And @WearAtoms shoes are legit.

[sidra qasim @sidraqasim]

In past few years, I shared my struggled as an entrepreneur. But what I’ve never shared at length is the deeply personal experiences and struggles that I gone through. I have had the chance to speak with @humansofny. I hope you’d enjoy reading it. ❤️🙏🏽
