@ashley__denisse there was a straight man (with girlfriend) in front of me who was not only talking up way too much space but also farting the whole night lmfao… such a fun show tho
@yerbalization I was in the “fusion” groups at my schools in middle and a high school. I was sooo good when we were doing cheer mixes to pitbull in 8th grade but when we started doing real hip hop in hs I was so ass😭😭 bullied for my stiffness (and rightfully so)
@Eleven__11XI@joseph_doody I mean if you want to defend conservative narratives go right ahead ig but art is about reinterpretation/ ADAPTation everyone needs to get over it
I have a friend I'm trying to hire who's basically unemployable and homeless however like, once u start knowing her you basically get roped into her life as if it's a tv show. Like, she causes insane amounts of property damage (one time she accidentally poisoned me) but her existence as living art is so enjoyable and also funny like she gets kicked out of everyone's house and then eventually ppl get sad and want her back so she basically circulates around like, I'm fairly certain this wud be a job in the medieval times but how does one employ someone like this ? I feel like I have an unusually large amount of unemployable but brilliant friends. Is there a healthier way for society to support these figures?
It's like Socrates syndrome
@yerbalization no like I live in westchase but no one outside of Houston knows wtf that is! So the closest big neighborhood I can locate myself around is memorial and I’m always just like “but that’s not me tho”. I knew 1 Latino at Stratford… in htx…
@cecilyskeen I started calling myself a metrosexual hag and people stopped giving me weird reactions to not being gay… idk if it’s super helpful in your situation but the joke has def helped me interact w people I’m just getting to know!
@yerbalization Schools visually separating kids in different grade levels w diff colors is so prison influenced too like #burnitdown. I also learned spring branch schools have never technically been desegregated… kinda sad I was unsurprised too
When a young hoe tells me the Dancefloor is Liberation and the Club is Community I find it trite. But when a beautiful 67-year old woman sings it four decades into her career……I FEEL FREE
