Last year everyone from haters to paid journos, everyone was on their feet to write negatively about Lewis but it seems like all those rats have gone back to their holes once Lewis is going toe to toe with prime George and prime Leclerc
Guy is a beast at 41 and if Ferrari solve their straight line issue they could atleast match Merc
And it will be a tough 3 way battle at the very least between Lewis, Charles and George
STILL WE RISE
I’m still trying to be open-minded about these engines, but there’s no hiding the spectacle was extremely poor in that Qualifying.
Even between teammates, the differences in deployment are massive and the driver has no control over where the battery gets dumped. If your car decides to use more battery in the wrong part of the track then the whole lap is ruined. Changes need to be made ASAP so it is up to the driver to dump their battery where they want/the teams can program it and not catch themselves out. Essentially like KERS and ERS, there is no other option in my opinion.
However, at some tracks the spectacle will be fine. Melbourne is has too many straights and not enough corners so they spend half the lap with no charge. Based on the layout, China could be more normal. However I’d say Japan, Saudi (?), Spain, Austria, Britain and Spa will be similar to this.
Nikolas Tombazis (last year) 😂😂😂😂😂
« We've known about the problems from day one and have gradually addressed and resolved them. Between now and the start of next season we'll implement a few more measures to improve energy flow and ensure the cars don't suddenly decelerate on the straights or do anything else unnatural. »
« There's no interest in turning Formula 1 into a chess game of the best energy strategies. We don't want them to deliberately ease off the accelerator while driving to store energy. A top driver must understand energy management, but the main task will remain braking at the right point, cornering as quickly as possible, and accelerating optimally. »

How I’ll be sleeping tonight after Max and his dusty fans went home empty handed after an entire season of trying to sell a 86th fastest car narrative that didn’t exist and making fun of team orders when their driver got help from everyone and their mama and still couldn’t win
Bad luck to Max Verstappen, losing the title by just 2 points.
Perhaps if he hadn’t lost his head and deliberately crashed into George Russell in the Spanish GP, he would be a five time champion.
