Are you with you? You ignored a weaponized rape in #Tigray and now you are starving the survivors.
You still don’t hear them.
You still can’t see them.
You still don’t believe them.
And they are not alone, because Tigrayan CSOs are working around you to support them.
The Allard K. Lowenstein International Human Rights Clinic at Yale Law School has determined, based on publicly available information, that Ethiopia, with its allies, violated international law by inflicting starvation on the civilian population of Tigray during the two-year-long war.
The Lowenstein legal analysis found that Ethiopia & its allies committed gross abuses of human rights & severe violations of the law of war, known as international humanitarian law. The study calls for credible, independent investigations of conduct by warring parties that significantly contributed to massive hunger in Tigray. @SecBlinken@JosepBorrellF@SenatorMenendez@USAmbUN

If the Ethiopian government doesn't want people to believe @HRW's latest report on its allies' ongoing ethnic cleansing in western Tigray, why doesn't it allow independent journalists and human rights monitors in to see? What is it hiding? https://t.co/nRdozRTcZR
100,000 IDPs served in Tigray, at least 1.7 million to go. And 2 years late. Quite the news to celebrate.
#TigrayGenocide has been made possible partially because of the neglect of the international community to transparently communicate about the humanitarian needs.
The @UN system in #Ethiopia was broken long before this food diversion and theft #Tigray with several (not all) @WFP & other agency staff conniving with Addis to deprive most vulnerable. Was open knowledge. Question is who in HQs also responsible https://t.co/MX5QEdqfx0
Day 67 of the suspension of food aid to #Tigray by the @WFP and @USAID.
These children are dying because of the aid suspension. All they have ever known is genocide and war.
Please have mercy on these innocent children. @USAID@WFPChief
It is time for transparency at @WFP. This country director replaced the previous country director who also resigned for undisclosed reasons. There are millions of lives at stake.
Day 68 of the suspension of food aid in #Tigray by the @WFP and @USAID.
This is an absolute meltdown and there is still no coherent reason for stopping distribution to Tigray in the first place.
Restart food aid. #TigrayCantWait

#Eritrean forces continue to wage devastation in #Tigray, once again interfering with vital humanitarian efforts - a lifeline to the region.
The U.S. & the int. community cannot lose focus on this issue until Eritrean troops are fully out of #Ethiopia.

Many have already given up hope, as in the case of Emol Weyni Haregu, 65 years old, who spends long hours lying on a white sack waiting for death.
next month this woman will probably already be dead from starvation.
Ethnic cleansing by the Amhara government has continued in Western Tigray despite a peace deal signed in November last year. The Ethiopian government failed (or refused) to stop atrocities against Tigrayans, despite the big promises.
