Exciting news...
🚨 https://t.co/GCUjRDOu73 has been acquired by NVIDIA! ❤️🤙
We started Brev with the goal of building the best damn developer experience possible.
We’ve been working closely with NVIDIA since August, and we couldn't be more excited to team up.
I'm infinitely grateful for our early users, investors, and team that supported us thus far. So excited for what's coming 🤙
@caustindavis Calling decision-tree-based heuristics a chatbot in 2023 seems inflated when powerful LLM alternatives exist. A more interesting study would use GPT-4 or a high-performing community model like Llama 2. Implementation of guardrails would be interesting.
@lpolovets In all seriousness, there is definitely value to consumers (not for training but for inference). Ex: many graphics workloads that previously ran exclusively on the GPU can benefit from a neural accelerator. Take a look at DLSS from NVIDIA, which benefits from Tensor Cores.
Because PMs are often presenting at exec reviews & all-hands, it is quite common for prod mgmt to receive disproportionate credit for work done by other functions. PM leaders must proactively combat this tendency because it kills morale, credibility & hampers future collaboration
@bitbanter D- is quite generous! Also, I love how he starts the article out by giving the impression of clamoring fans asking him to “weigh in” on Bitcoin - as if this were the first time. In reality, he hasn’t shut up about the topic for 5+ years, predicting impending doom each time.

@codehova You're thinking about it as chat-first, but I don't think that was the intention. Chat was added later to Keybase. The original intention was for converging online identities, especially crypto keys. https://t.co/QSGyFmWwdi
NVIDIA has set six records in AI, demonstrating the unmatched performance and versatility of NVIDIA Tensor Core GPUs and driving innovation for the evolution of AI. https://t.co/n8DHErPjxo #MLPerf
A couple of years ago I prototyped the first version of a little framework called Conjure...it grew into Palantir's polyglot RPC framework, and today we're open-sourcing it https://t.co/THORKbvDib #conjure
If you think you're the smartest person in the room:
1) You aren't trying hard enough to learn from others. Almost everyone is better than you in at least one area.
2) You're likely annoying to most people in the room.
"Smartness" varies across different areas; it's not binary.
