By the grace of God, MPs have listened and voted against assisted suicide. Together, we have shown that we will not stand by while the sacredness of life is under threat.

“As the many thousands at the March for Life demonstrated, we are a people of life and a people of joy. We must continue to be witnesses for Christ by courageously and joyfully making the case for life - from conception until natural death”

Cardinal Vincent Nichols called for damp, blackened Corpus Christi to be rescued. Fr Alan Robinson took on the job with dwindling parishioners and no budget.
I researched and selected this comparison because I love the answer: supporters raised more than £1.5 million while Mass and confession continued through the dust. Their resolve moves me (faith lived out in dust and noise).
The Covent Garden church remains busy with worship and adoration. Yet cracked exterior masonry needs £50,000 before the damage worsens. I would hate this living shrine to lose ground after such a rescue.
