Tomorrow, @SKhynix makes its Nasdaq debut after one of the wildest semiconductor turnarounds:
• Lost ₩8 trillion in 2023
• Became NVIDIA's leading HBM supplier
• Surpassed Samsung as Korea's most valuable company
we tested "kevlar" for the last week
it's a fairly large improvement for long time horizon (2+ hrs) planning + multi-computer coordination
mainly:
- calling complex subagents+tools efficiently
- realtime planning from exploration
- handling ambiguous instructions w clear goals
Congratulations @SolaAI_ on their launch and $21M of funding!
Everyone’s talking about enterprise AI agents and computer use, but no one can tell you how this actually gets into real, economically valuable workflows.
The answer is to make them self-serve and "teachable," so end users can rapidly train automations for everything they do without touching a line of code. Sola is the first platform where an operator can deploy on day one, scale to tens of thousands of runs, and never wait on a developer, FDE, or “center of excellence.”
Long term believers in founders @jess123555 and @NeilDeshmukh. They're hiring!
So grateful to be partnered with someone who’s understood our vision from day 1 and believed in what we’re building every step of the way 🥰
Very excited for what's to come!!
We raised $17.5M to bring agentic AI to the operational core of the enterprise.
Thanks to @a16z, @Conviction, and @ycombinator for believing in the future we’re building.

📢 We @a16z are thrilled to have led @SolaAI_’s Series A!
Despite the rapid advancements in AI, many enterprises are still early in adopting it and seeing impact. That’s why we’re so excited about Sola.
Sola is an AI-native process automation platform. Customers record a process once on their computer using a Sola extension, and Sola turns that input into a live, continually running, adaptable AI agent to get the job done. Its intuitive interface allows non-technical business users to build, edit and maintain their own agents, empowering the relevant experts in a company to build automations that fit their specific business context.
Sola has seen incredible success automating workflows ranging from data entry to invoice reconciliation to claims processing in legacy industries — particularly in logistics. Their revenue has grown 5x in the past few months and their workflow volume has been doubling month over month.
Founders @jess123555 and @NeilDeshmukh are two of the sharpest, most thoughtful builders I’ve met. They dropped out of MIT to found Sola and are actively hiring in New York to meet growing demand. I’m thrilled to be on this journey with them and to partner with @conviction@saranormous@pranavreddy. Also excited to bring back paper term sheets and handshakes! 🤝
We’re leading Sola’s $17M Series A.
Most companies are still figuring out how to get real value from AI, meanwhile manual back-office work continues to quietly drain time and resources.
Sola is an AI-native platform that makes AI bots to automate these workflows. Their agents watch how people do tasks on-screen, then handle those tasks automatically even in legacy tools with no APIs or integrations.
Customers use it daily because there’s no heavy setup, training, or services required.
Congrats to Jessica (@jess123555), Neil, and the entire team.
Excited to announce that @SolaAI_ has raised a $17.5M Series A led by @a16z with support from @Conviction@ycombinator, bringing total funding to $21M 🚀
From the start, we set out to reimagine human-AI interaction to push the boundaries of process automation. Our agents watch how people do tasks on-screen, then handle those tasks automatically, even in legacy tools.
We’ve been using OpenAI's new coding agent, Codex, internally.
tldr; Dispatching agents like this instead of directly guiding them is the future.
Quick thread on where it's already added value —and where we’re hoping to see it grow. 🧵
