@atomkirk@rrrene When I optimized credo to run fast on a couple large codebases the slowest rules were ones that were already covered by mix format so I disabled those
@atomkirk I've had this issue but I always just pay them off right before getting a mortgage or refinancing (just know your statement date), historical utilization doesn't matter, just current.
@atomkirk If it was me I would close the card, age is not everything, you might get a temporary hit, but unless you are planning on buying a house in the next year it won't really affect anything. I've always received the lowest rates even when having only three years of credit history.
@atomkirk I guess you forgot the test we did with ZipBooks on heroku, it significantly slowed down the app. Yes it makes it easier in some aspects, but then you lose a ton of optimization, configuration options, and are limited in what you can run.

@skbolton The thing that helps me tell a great engineer apart is someone who will listen to other opinions and seriously consider them without letting ego and bias get in the way
@atomkirk@MackeyTech That’s assuming you need files to be synced between host and container. When you don’t need files synced for DBs or kafka for example it works well on any OS.
