Surround yourself with people who are not impressed by a marketing stunt of a car that can fly three seconds and needs 6 hours to recharge the liquid nitrogen which, btw, just makes the car a ton less safe.

@dashaun @graalvm “Double” is not much “comparable”. Maybe with a larger application the ratio goes down, but if you have a few hundred pods running, “double” costs you a good deal of money.

I also appreciated Datagrip, and that in each IDE you could just have a file that worked as a REST testing (a bit like postman, but with less nonsense). And that getting the call hierarchy just worked, for all languages.

Needed extra space on my laptop for an experiment. I eventually deleted all the @jetbrains IDE (and more) I had installed. It has been a glorious journey nevertheless, but times have changed. 🧵

This time I wasn’t able to move everybody to CLion, mainly because of the remote problems. Which was good: everybody thought I was so good at C++ (which I was not).
