👋Some news!
I’m running for Mark Carney's Liberals in Calgary-Confederation.
I live here, work here, raise my kids here. I want to offer representation that understands the economy and the public interest & be an Alberta voice standing up for Canada at a challenging time. 🧵1/
Tomorrow I vote for the RCMP. My doctor passed and I don’t have a doctor so I’ll vote for healthcare. Now well into my 70s, CPP is my friend. I’ll vote for it. My Grandchildren are perfect, so I’ll vote for their education. I’m Canadian so I’ll vote for that. Because I can
Never ever let them tell you your vote doesn’t count.
In 2015, the Alberta NDP won Calgary-Glenmore by just six votes. With your support, we’ll win it again.
Let’s get @NagwanYYC elected!
Jim Stanford with the receipts. Only wealthy corporations & their owners have benefited from the UCP. Over 99% of Albertans, have not. Stagnant wages, weak economy, cut services, privatization, increased poverty, is the real UCP legacy. #FireTheUCP#AbElection2023#abvotes#ableg
Do you have a pre-existing medical condition? Would you be covered by your benefits or do you even have benefits when The UCP privatizes healthcare? Vote smart. #FireTheUCP#VoteNDP 🧡
At the doors tonight in West Springs for @DruhFarrell & @RachelNotley:
"Smith says she's fixed healthcare. Right! You know what she should f*ck*ng do? She should spend a f*ck*ng week in hospital like me!"
Yes, the resident took the advance voter info.

2. Contrary to what UCP Leader said about me in the leaders' debate, I actually HAD done my own analysis of the NDP's costing plan. And I endorsed it.
Please RETWEET this as much as you can. My credibility has been attacked and I need to set the record straight.
1. I have received ZERO compensation for my work with the Alberta NDP.
They asked me for my professional and expert opinion on Alberta's fiscal and economic policy, and I provided it for free.
I respect any political party that seeks expert advice.

My EasyMax contract is up for renewal. The new locked in electricity rate is 12.79 and the old one was 5.79… Thanks to the UCP and the removal of the rate cap #FireTheUCP#abpoli
My parents are refugees who built an impressive life here and worked hard. They have always voted conservative. My mom said “the ucp don’t care about people in our tax bracket. We can’t afford to pay for private health care”. They want affordable utilities and healthcare.
It’s simple:
Albertans want a leader they can trust and a government that is focused on our priorities.
People are showing up to vote for a better future with @RachelNotley & the @albertaNDP!
Today is the last day for advance polls! Get out and vote! 🗳️
Opinion: “After spending 35 years as an educator with Edmonton Public Schools, I can say with certainty that charter schools are not, in fact, public education too.” - Sandra B. Woitas
