@Jbowho123 I didnt take it as a shot considering that’s always been my thought. I knw ppl without villages, I knw ppl whose moms walked away from them even w/marriage. The preparation is really financial & just mental. Have kids when you can afford to solo, that’s the best safety net.

@Jbowho123 I think you’re confusing my stance. To clarify, marriage or not, men and women need to be prepared to be the sole care takers of their kids with little help bc life happens. My parents were married and my dad has no family, his adopted parents died when I was young.
