The image of an elderly Black man raising his cane at the president, calling the Right out for cutting poor people's healthcare, and refusing to back down, is powerful. Instead of condemning Green, Dems should understand that he is an inspiring model for real resistance.
[THREAD] This #WomensHistoryMonth, let's not forget how many of our rights were only won in recent decades, and weren’t given by asking nicely and waiting.
We need to fight for our rights.

MAGAs are gutting:
•Medicaid—which 60M Americans rely on to survive
•SNAP—which 40M Americans rely on to eat
•School Lunch—which 30M kids rely on daily
•Housing Assistance—which 5M families rely on to live
ALL to cut $4.5T in taxes for 800 Billionaires
This Is Barbaric.
I like parks. I like public trails. Only the government has any incentive to create and maintain these things. To the private sector all land should be converted to “highest and best use.” I’ll never understand people who think our lives would improve with more privatization
