We're increasing global access to @NASA’s library of Earth data! Check out 2 new, free online courses available on @Geoversity_io to learn about our tools #ClimateSERV & Collect Earth Online. H/T to @Micky_Maganini & @BillyZ313 https://t.co/ogjDgACESB
Hey Huntsville! Come check out the @SERVIRGlobal booth at NASA in the Park at Big Spring Park until 2:00. You can use our spectrometer to take readings like a satellite! @nkc0006#nasainthepark#earthscience
I had a great time presenting my flood mapping intercomparison at the “Natural Hazards and Risks in a Changing World” conference this week. We as scientists can do more to bring practitioners/end users to these conferences to get their perspective on how to link science to action
Check out this free and open course offered by @geoversity_io, developed by myself and @BillyZ313. You can learn how to access global biophysical data through SERVIR's website or API!
Do you want to learn how to access global #rainfall, #SoilMoisture, and #vegetation health datasets at the push of a button? Take our free and open course, Introduction to #ClimateSERV, offered by @FacultyITC's Geoversity: https://t.co/hiYFZ2SXzP

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Professor Yin’s passing. As someone who was fortunate enough to learn from An, I know I speak for many when I say that he was an inspiration — a role model to so many not only as a geologist but as a great person. He will be dearly missed.
We are devastated by the unexpected loss of Professor An Yin. Prof. Yin was the heart and soul of our department, a dedicated teacher who served his students with unfailing loyalty.
We are focused on supporting his family and students and will share more information soon.
This week, at the TensorFlow Working Group at SERVIR, we invited Dr Ben Weinstein to present on his work on "Individual Tree Prediction from Above - Where are we? Where are we going?" 🌳📊🚀 The video is is now available https://t.co/BAp5rgb32Y. Don't miss this captivating talk!
Last presentation of the workshop is Savannah Cooley of @NASA Applied Sciences / @SERVIRGlobal on co-production of tooks for environmental justice.
Be still my heart!
Also starts by thanking local collaborators by name, which is always a good practice
