Fran Unsworth on BBC journalists: “It was bullying,” she tells me [...] “But it wasn’t just the trans issue [...] people didn’t want to hear from certain points of view; they’d ‘no platform’ them; all that safe-spaces shit.”

@HuntersofPutney@SophRiver@RachelB76293670@HallisseyC It is competitive. If pr want to make it not so, they could, you know, stop assigning everyone a finishing place in their category, and publicly listing the top finishers in M/W categories.
pr have been simply unable to explain why they are doing that. They are lying to everyone.
@itsafrogslife@Jimmigrant1@thefempire50@NoodleLover2@LoreleiPoo86822@HallisseyC Is that why they contribute to calculation of your RunBritain handicap, as with other certified roadrunning events (races), which determines your RunBritain ranking for age/sex category?
Whereas some (uncertified) races don't.
Irrespective, they are listed, ranked, on Brit Ath DB
@itsafrogslife@Jimmigrant1@thefempire50@NoodleLover2@LoreleiPoo86822@HallisseyC Not going through this again.parkrun times are recognised by UKA thus they record them as certified performances on the national db. Contrast with some races which are not certified and do not appear.
If you're saying, should be 'British Athletics' you're right,'UK' is shorter.
@Jimmigrant1@thefempire50@NoodleLover2@LoreleiPoo86822@HallisseyC@itsafrogslife parkrun are not 'in control of P10'. You said that,no-one else. parkrun are 100% in control of where their data goes and what it's used for.
You don't have the first clue about GDPR laws if you really think Po10 are listing, without permission, runners names+where+when they ran.
@Jimmigrant1@NoodleLover2@thefempire50@LoreleiPoo86822@HallisseyC@itsafrogslife The penny has dropped 👏
Yes,THAT's why parkrun are being put on notice that this will be decided in a court of Law.Unless they change something first. Which,as was my original point, what has triggered this toys-out-of-pram from the 'it's a fun run' bros. So why are they scared
@Jimmigrant1@thefempire50@NoodleLover2@LoreleiPoo86822@HallisseyC@itsafrogslife Just keep ignoring the points.👍
Not even all road races count towards those rankings. It's because they aren't licensed.
parkrun makes the *choice* to become UKA-accredited.They don't have to.
You start a national fun run event.Let's see if the results end up on Powerof10😆
@Jimmigrant1@thefempire50@NoodleLover2@LoreleiPoo86822@HallisseyC@itsafrogslife 'yOuR siLLy'
Who controls parkrun's applications to UKA to enable their results to be legitimate data for performance records and ranking purposes?
(yeah you completely ignored that, didn't you jimmi)
Please do enlighten us on what the benefits and purposes of a UKA licence are.
@Jimmigrant1@NoodleLover2@thefempire50@LoreleiPoo86822@HallisseyC@itsafrogslife A little reminder of the point made to you earlier, which you keep ignoring.
In some situations it's ILLEGAL to NOT treat sex and gender as the same. As we all learned about a year ago. So for the purpose of the parkrun discussion, it's appropriate to raise it. Stop deflecting.

@Jimmigrant1@thefempire50@NoodleLover2@LoreleiPoo86822@HallisseyC@itsafrogslife They certainly do. parkrun can choose to withhold data from them. It's within parkrun's gift to do that and declare it inegible as ACTUAL NATIONAL ATHLETE RANKING DATA.
And yet, parkrun hand over their data to actual national athletics bodies for this very purpose.
