What a day! I submitted my PhD thesis AND I got an offer from a biotech company that I am passionate about! How great is that!?

Hello academics and researchers!
I want to know if you use any apps/websites to keep up with the updates in your research field!
I mainly go watch videos on YouTube, search on Google ...
Thanks in advance

Does anyone know any online journal clubs ( open to everyone) on the topics of neuroscience and immunology?
Appreciate it if you could drop a link or name of the meetings! Please RT! Thanks

@jane_wakeford Same for me during my PhD! Only I was angry of my supervisor! What I regret I didn’t do: talk to him directly and convey my concerns in a direct way, contact doctoral school and consult with them and if everything else didn’t work I should call quit!
Can you share some tips on how to plan days and time management? I am right now in the process of finding job and can’t organize my days well. I’m learning German, taking some courses but days are passing so fast, helppp😭😭😭

@TrumanLab@PhDVoice@AcademicChatter I know that bad experience is not rare in academia but Bc of my experience, I am not sure of my career path. I keep asking myself if I am skilled enough for anything. Just trying to see my options.
@TrumanLab@PhDVoice@AcademicChatter I just wanted to point out that Im a non European did the PhD in Europe (3.5 years) normally people stay longer for postdoc to finish and publish. I didn’t want to stay because of my mental health. I left the lab right after my defense.
@TrumanLab@PhDVoice@AcademicChatter Bc my PhD research was struggling, with zero support and in an unfriendly team, there were no real meeting to discuss, and a very challenging project made me a depressed person with no confidence. So I was never satisfied with doing “proper” research.
