@Coolibar just tried to use a marketing email discount, then tried to use the support chatbot, then tried to submit through the contact form - but they were all broken. I unsubscribed from emails, hopefully the site works next time I try it.
A government agency spending $300 million in taxpayer dollars to produce sterilized flies sounds like a dream scenario for a DOGE team looking to cut waste, fraud, and abuse. https://t.co/3lGn15PndO
Did anyone notice that the CDC just modified their dashboard to make Covid transmission look lower?
The underlying data are identical. However, the Y axis is rescaled to make everything seem lower.

In 2017, 150k people paid Cards Against Humanity to protect a pristine plot of border land from Trump’s racist wall. But then an even richer, more racist billionaire—@ElonMusk—stole their land and dumped his shit all over it. Fuck that! https://t.co/hCq7jRmk9M #ElonOwesMe100Bucks

@SUBWAY I heard you had an emergency meeting due to low sales. FIY, I've tried to order on the website multiple times and only had it work once. I'm not gonna try again, it's frustrating. You should fix your site if you care about sales.
@TransUnion your website and phone systems are both so broken that I can't believe it's legal for you to exist - the "Submit" button for a feedback button was broken too, but one of the broken pages suggested social media 🤷
@substack I couldn't find a way to report this on your site but https://t.co/GbJvomBB7D is signing people up without consent. I unsubscribed but didn't see a way to report it as spam, other than to Gmail.
@beconsta thanks for creating claranet4. Two other libraries had instructions to "pair" without saying how but your library got me unblocked quickly and easily.
I'm still wondering about this 😅 I suspect I heard it between July 2013 and the end of 2015, maybe a little later. It might not have been a CEO and tried searching the archives (kudos for transcripts).
@Freakonomics I thought I heard through Freakonomics about a CEO's team who were all too afraid of taking a hypothetical high-ROI risk, and the CEO was disappointed because he wanted all that risk (and ROI). Can you identify a podcast episode, or was it from one of the books?
@maccaw@fortelabs Hey Alex, I'm with you here. Did you ever find an answer to your question? I simply use Obsidian and don't have to worry about this, but I'd love to know what the BASB answer is to where "remotely sensitive" things should go (and what counts as sensitive!).
@mekarpeles@fortelabs I have a note with all my prior addresses along with the dates. I can't imagine self-censoring things like that all the time, vs securing my system once and never having that cognitive load again.
