Sony argues that “reasonable consumers” already understand they don’t truly own their digital games. Fine—change the confirmation button from “Purchase” to “Rent” & see how sales are affected. Consumers will immediately hesitate, exposing how misleading the current terminology is
Sony’s move away from physical PlayStation games is reportedly facing strong backlash at Gamescom.
Attendees say the reaction matches PlayStation’s social media, with “NO DISC NO BUY” comments everywhere.
The backlash is also affecting PlayStation’s marketing, with Sony looking at changes to its communication and planning.
Some third-party studios are also avoiding close association with PlayStation for now.
You're making GTA 6 for the investors and shareholders, not for the people who actually play your games. If you were making it for them, you'd listen to criticism and this shit wouldn't have escalated to this point.
13 years. Billions of dollars. Supporting anti-consumer practices. Raising prices. Refusing to communicate with your player base about any of it.
You made your bed, pissed all over it, and now you're looking at us like it's our fucking fault. Nah. You lay in it.
Your physical game library is more than a collection of discs. It holds years of memories and stories worth preserving. Starting next week, XBOX Insiders can unlock a digital entitlement for supported physical games. We’ll start with thousands of titles and add more as we can.
@sensforever520@Giotaro_Prods Almost cause I can't play the fucking game you retard I pre ordered this shit for 100 dollars and bought it for my goddamn friend and we can't play without stutter now we boutta refund this shit and pirate it
@maximilian_ It's 100% a PC to potato PC issue, tested connection locally with my friend with no issues. Then capped my fps to 20fps to limit stress and ms spiked over 100ms with the most egregious slowdown 💀
Fighting people with "average" pcs (hitting ~45fps) is why you run into stutters
