Why am I impatient about starting a business right now, because failing right now does not frighten me more than being 10 years older and still being stuck in the same position
Hey #Indiehackers what your thoughts about dogfooding. Curious to know if anyone was able to use their own product to drive growth/features on their sass platform.
@theandreboso This is what EVERYONE seems to tell me. But what if reaching my problem's target audience is difficult or the business model for solving this problem just isn't viable.
Does it make sense to keep on trying to solve a hard problem or look somewhere else?
I think the most essential thing in life is consistency. It does not matter what you are doing, nothing beats effects compounding over time.
Do little if you have to, but do it everyday.

@gouthamjay8@mailboat_io I am working exactly on this problem.
Making scheduling workloads provisioning easier for developers.
Would you be open to a quick connection on zoom? I am quite familiar with the scheduling problem at scale and can share whatever I have learned so far.
@vaclavhodek I would not agree about the flexibility bit really. There is no concept of sparse keys in SQL dbs, and if you need to add a new column you probably need to write DDL for it.
@vaclavhodek 1. They are relatively easy to work with.
2. They help you iterate faster.
3. If you hit the jackpot and need to scale rapidly , then these databases can scaled up with relative ease.
@hellostartupla I agree. Education is not important, it is vital. But by education I don't mean the kind that gets you degree.
Education means to learn things continously. The ability to break it down to its first principles and reassemble it.
